About Us

He burst upon the fashion scene like a fresh breeze in 2006 - the youngest ever designer to qualify for a slot at the Lakme Fashion Week. Since then, his designs have draped the tallest in society and in Bollywood; and he himself has grown immensely in stature. Now, he strides across the fashion stage as a colossus.

Meet menswear designer Kunal Rawal.

Upon his return to the country after having qualified from the London College of Fashion, Kunal launched his own Collection. This was marked by a confluence of influences – his traditional Indian roots, and a Western fashion sensibility he had acquired when abroad.

Thus was born his signature minimalistic style of “cultivated imperfection”.

The lines and dots which are a hallmark of his style, impart even to his ethnicwear a touch of modernity, keeping the look understated. Metal insignias; the use of kadis(vintage handles); the graphic depiction of tigers, flying birds and the lotus; combined with retro and military influences, all add a zany zing to luxury for today's man.

On the other hand, Kunal’s creations are also well-known for the embroidery and stitching techniques like french knots, origami and pleating embodied in them.

Clean cut silhouettes, impeccable tailoring and structured detailing enable even elaborate garments like band galas, sherwanis, inside out blazers and back zipper kurtas take on a sleek sophistication when worn.

Fastidious to the last detail, Kunal designs and manufactures handmade footwear as well to accessorise his fashion garments . Uniquely designed loafers, kohlapuris, boots, espadrilles made from soft crinkled fabrics accented by metal, allows the men to step out in style - but in exquisite comfort.

Early in his career, Kunal became a renowned designer and stylist for films.

In time he has become a sought after couturier to the Bollywood fraternity, including the A-listers. Spurred by his love for cricket he has also designed costumes for IPL cricket teams Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Kunal himself has been declared one of the top “best dressed men and a young trendsetter” by fashion magazine GQ for the last three years in a row. What better compliment can a designer get than this?
